Some meaningful observations by a gentleman – Thomas Alva Edison (Inventor, Businessman, 1847-1931.) as he once quoted, “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” When we are met by dead-ends we feel it’s like the end of the world, because we have stopped listening to our inner voice which says that there is still light at the end of the tunnel. There is no problem in the world which does not have a solution.
We get tired before using our full potential. As creatures of habit, we look outside for solutions in things or scenarios rather than sorting out our mind internally with a little calmness and meditation or sharing with a third person, preferably a counselor.
In regard to this, Edison said, “I have not failed 700 times, I have not failed once. I have succeeded in proving that those 700 ways will not work. When I have eliminated the ways that will not work, I will find the way that will work.” Failures are the quality bricks of building a strong foundation of learning and succeeding; firstly in the mind, then the outside task or test of life.
Now we can put it in this way that failures are actual blessings in disguise to help us elevate to the next level in life.
When we have worked hard with honesty and not cheated the self or others then these failures become the stepping stones in reaching our goal. Like Edison said, “Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.
We need to wire our inner circuitry, realign our mind again to generate will power and use it to it’s full potential. Ahem…its full potential’s equation equals to “infinite”!! So, now we cannot debate, argue or contradict ‘The Will-power’ under any Act or Law of the scared thought. Punch! in it’s face with the new generated will-power.
Fear of proving hard to the world that you are a genius this never brings true satisfaction. Contentment will only be generated when we have proved to ourselves first that we did not give up in the face of the storms.
When we continue to move on and on in our journey, our destiny awaits us rather than running after it. That is why it has been laid down over the centuries by great philosophers and scientists too that it is the journey which counts…not the destination.
Thereby, It should not matter how much time it takes to reach, what matters is when we are clear and organized in the mind we will meet our targets well in time.
Rather than panicking and losing out on confidence in ourselves, it’s healthier to continue building on our foundation. Once a strong foundation is built, then it is only a matter of months or a year or two that a multi-storied structured is all set and to be used.
